Today´s Sandwich

The good thing of going to Plaza Catalonia is that it is surrounded by stores and fast-food restaurants, so you can walk around and window shop or buy something to bite Again i had to take the green line to get from my house, at the very beginning of Diagonal Ave, to the Plaza. I could have taken the bus but again i was starving! This time i was going to have lunch with Ester. She is one of a kind, hopefully, earth will be in danger if there are other Esters loosed around without supervision, craziness is contagious, besides that she is very smiley and childish. We are getting into a mutual agreement of language-teaching-bilateral-accordance. She needs some help with the English (not that i know much) and i want to learn Catalan (not that she knows much).

So today´s phrase learned was: No puc entenc? ( I cannot understand ?)

Going Green

The green line of the subway station of Barcelona, draws a very singular V shape across the city. Looks like if a little kid just grabbed a green crayola and tried it on the city map, and then draw other 8 lines with the rest of the crayolas, and the metro map was created!

Today I'm going with Carol to make some winter shopping; scarfs, gloves, winter hats, etc. To get from her house near Maria Cristina to Plaza Catalonia, we need to take that green line, the problem is that I am really sick of taking the subway, there is so much that i don't know about Barcelona, so much i haven´t seen, but that is the fastest way to get there and we are really starving, stomach first!... then site-seeing =)
